There’s something special about leveling up your gear—it makes everything feel like it’s falling into place. This time around, I finally got to use a monitor with a dummy battery and, thanks to a recent purchase, a V-mount battery. This setup gave me some extra confidence behind the camera, especially with the new FX6. There’s just a different vibe when you’re working with equipment that you trust to hold up throughout the night. Last time I shot at this spot, my car wouldn’t start afterward, and to make it worse, it was pouring rain. Fast forward to tonight, I had a brand-new ride and solid gear on my side. Life is definitely blessing me, and I’m here for it!
The vibe at Plano House of Comedy was nothing short of amazing. The acts—Angela Owen, Karen Mills, Kenny Lee, and Linda Stogner—brought the house down. Each one had a unique style that kept the crowd engaged, and I’m telling you, if you ever see their names on a lineup, go. You’ll laugh, no doubt about it.
And, yes, I’ll admit, I was a little tipsy while working the camera. But hey, the footage is still crisp, still A1! It’s all about making people look good and capturing those moments, which is what I do best. Video dropping soon, so stay tuned for these incredible talents.
